Pick blueberries in Limburg

A Sunday afternoon in the Limburg village of America can replace a shopping centre with the simple question of how a blueberry travels from branch to scale. Handje Gezond’s 2026 season runs through 31 August and opens Sunday 10:00–17:00, combining farm shop, a self-service terrace and self-picking in a manageable half-day. Open does not mean the same volume of ripe fruit at every hour. Heat, rain and the previous day’s visitors change what can be picked. The farm also says its terrace is now self-service with drinks and small treats rather than lunch. Anyone driving a long distance for a full basket should ask about that day’s picking status before setting out.
