Museon-Omniversum's new interactive exhibition MUSIC! Move. Feel. Connect. fills 800 square metres with 30-plus hands-on installations.
What you need to know
For a rainy-day plan, The Hague's Museon-Omniversum science museum opened a solid new interactive exhibition this summer called MUSIC! Move. Feel. Connect., filling more than 800 square metres, almost the entire ground floor, split into nine themed worlds built around music. The route runs through Pulse, which explores rhythm and the body's response, Harmony, about making music together, and Voice, focused on self-expression, with more than thirty interactive installations that ask visitors to play, listen and feel rather than look at exhibits behind glass. A day ticket costs €17.95 for adults and €14.95 for children aged four to eleven, free under four, and the price already includes one film in the Dome theatre, so a family can fill most of a wet afternoon indoors without running out of things to do.
