Gouda Muse workshop: turn an illustration into a personal portrait story

On 1 August from 14:30 to 16:30, Melody hosts Make Your Own Muse at Melolelo Studio in Gouda. EUR75 includes all materials, coffee and tea, with Dutch and English available.

• Melolelo centres self-expression and empowerment rather than drawing skill. Which Muse you choose, conceal or emphasise is the core creative decision.
• Pressed flowers bring irregular edges and colours altered by time; gold leaf adds points of light. Their behaviour on textured cotton paper means placement matters more than with stickers.
• The small group allows individual guidance and suits a friend day, birthday or parent with a participant over sixteen. The venue is not wheelchair accessible, so check access needs first.
• The studio is about seven minutes on foot from Gouda Station. Materials are included but the session lasts two hours; arrive with an emotion in mind and spend the time composing.
