ARTIS Zoo on Fever at EUR 29.49: visit a fourth time in a year and the EUR 96 membership has paid for itself

ARTIS is the zoo in Amsterdam's Plantage district, and on Fever an adult ticket is EUR 29.49, rated 4.8 from 43 reviews, with a child ticket for ages 3 to 12 at EUR 27.50, no booking fee, and no refunds or date changes once bought. Fever's description mentions more than 750 animal species, 27 national monuments and a planetarium; ARTIS's own price page adds the line that matters: the aquarium and the planetarium are included in an ARTIS-Park ticket.

The official ARTIS web shop quotes from-prices: EUR 29.50 from age 13, EUR 26.50 for ages 3 to 12, free under 3, with the note that prices vary by day and are cheaper online. So one adult saves a single cent on Fever, while a family of two adults and two children pays 2 × 29.49 + 2 × 27.50 = EUR 113.98 there, EUR 1.98 more than the official from-price of EUR 112.00. Students and CJP or EYCA holders pay EUR 16.25 on the official site and should skip this ticket altogether.

The sum worth doing is membership.
