The strawberry picking season has officially started in the Netherlands! If you're looking for a unique weekend activity to give your kids a taste of farm life, now is the perfect time.

Thanks to favourable weather, this year's strawberry season kicked off a week earlier than usual. From late May to mid-June is the prime window for the sweetest strawberries, making it ideal for family outings.

• ✓ Fresh & Sweet: Picked strawberries are 3-4 times sweeter than store-bought ones. Enjoy unlimited picking and eating on the spot – best enjoyed the same day.
• ✓ Summer Harvest: After strawberries, cherries arrive in late June, followed by raspberries and blueberries in July, and corn and pumpkins in August. There's something new to pick each month throughout the summer.
