Hoorn’s old centre becomes a ten-day fairground

Hoorn Kermis is not a fenced amusement park but a city tradition remembered across generations. Churches, squares and old streets sit beside lights, mechanical sound and sweet stalls, making the city itself part of the fairground. From 8 to 17 August, rides, family attractions and special moments spread through the centre; entering the fair streets is free and each attraction charges separately.
