An ancient monster has escaped at RMO

RMO lets Medusa, Pegasus and Anzu step out of the usual hero-versus-monster frame. They become characters with motives and powers, while a stamp card turns archaeology into observation, riddles and making rather than a list of dates. Daily through 30 August, children search among mummy cases, temples and antiquities for an escaped mythical creature; admission is free through age eighteen.

• The activity runs daily until 30 August and is aimed at ages seven plus; a preschool map starts at four.
• The quest and museum entry are free for children; adult admission is €14 and Museumkaart is valid.
• Opening hours are 10:00–17:00 daily, with Thursday evening opening as well.
• Collect the activity card at the exhibition entrance; busy afternoons may take longer.

Treat this as a small summer story with a clear setting, not simply another pin on a map. Times, ticket types and practical arrangements can still change. Reopen the official page before booking or leaving, and allow some margin for transport, weather and food so the day stays enjoyable.
