Space Explorers ISS VR in Lille from EUR 22: on the family ticket each adult pays EUR 16, EUR 6 less

On a weekend trip from the Netherlands to Lille, you may want something indoors for children over 8 that is genuinely about space. Space Explorers: The ISS Experience at Eclipso in Lille puts everyone in a VR headset and lets you walk freely through a large hall while 3D 360-degree footage filmed inside and outside the International Space Station plays around you, following astronauts through daily life in space and out to views of Earth. It lasts about 40 minutes and is rated 4.7 from 368 reviews on Fever.

It is based on the Emmy-winning series of the same name, which won for Outstanding Interactive Program, and the official site says the footage was filmed in space, documenting NASA missions; it has already been shown in Houston, Montreal, Singapore and Atlanta. The Lille edition opened on 26 June 2026 in a new free-roaming version, and Fever says it has welcomed more than 500,000 visitors worldwide. Unlike watching a video in a headset at home, you walk as you watch, with the station's modules opening up around you.

A family should check the ticket types first: adults (16+) pay EUR 22; children aged 8-15, students and people with reduced mobility EUR 16; a family ticket for at least three people with at most two adults is EUR 16 each; and a group of four or more pays EUR 20 each. So the family ticket saving = adults x (22 - 16) = adults x EUR 6: two adults and a child save 60 - 48 = EUR 12, two adults and two children 76 - 64 = EUR 12, and four adult friends pay EUR 80 as a group instead of EUR 88. The limit to know about is that you wear the headset and walk for the full 40 minutes, which not everyone enjoys.
