The statutory rate from 1 July is €14.99 gross per hour for age 21+, €11.99 at age 20 and €8.99 at age 19. This change is more than a few cents on a wage table. Since 2024, the Netherlands has used a single statutory hourly minimum instead of separate daily, weekly and monthly minima, so contracted hours now feed directly into the gross monthly result. For workers aged 21 and over, the rate moves from €14.71 in January 2026 to €14.99 in July, while several linked benefits are adjusted too. That is why the July payslip deserves a line-by-line comparison with June rather than a glance at the final bank transfer.
