Wanting a new bathroom but not knowing where to start is exactly the question page 2 of this flyer puts to its readers. The 28-page Hornbach flyer is marked Week 38 on the cover and has one theme, Bouw jouw droombadkamer, running from Monday 14 September to Sunday 4 October 2026, so there are three weeks to read it properly.

Page 3 breaks the job into 10 steps: finish the basic structure, lay new pipes for water, heating and ventilation, then new electrics, plasterboard, a new screed, sealing floor and walls and fitting the shower and bath, tiling, painting walls and ceilings, fitting the toilet and taps, and only at the end placing the furniture and accessories. The point of that order is that the last things to choose are usually the first ones people fall for in the shop.

The flyer reads well along three decisions:

• Layout first: bathroom concepts named Namibië, Brasilia, Dubai, Madrid, IJsland and Tokio each come as a complete bathroom, a small bathroom and a separate toilet room, so you can compare against the size of your own room rather than the big photo.
• Then the key pieces: the toilet pages ask whether you want a floor-standing or wall-hung model, with or without a flushing rim, and extras such as a shower function; the shower pages set out bath screens, corner, niche door, quarter-round, sliding door with side panel, walk-in and five-sided enclosures, noting that a corner shower suits smaller bathrooms and a walk-in makes the room feel bigger.
• Finally floors, walls and light: the floor page compares tiles, which suit underfloor heating, antibacterial click PVC, and waterproof laminate with a reinforced core that does not swell; for walls there are SPC panels with a tongue-and-groove system for tight, waterproof seams; the lighting page splits bathroom light into basic, mirror and effect lighting.

Two pieces of small print are worth noting. The last page says prices are guaranteed until at least 2 October 2026 and are not raised automatically after that, although changing world market prices or seasonal price swings can force adjustments. The price promise says that if you find an identical item cheaper at a competitor in the Netherlands within 30 days of buying, you get that price minus another 10%, including offers and online prices but not clearance sales.

Several price comparison pages list the regular prices of three competitors as of 17 August 2026.
