On the first free weekend of autumn you plan to replace the living-room floor. This 52-page GAMMA flyer is valid from 21 to 27 September 2026, and the cover is a solid orange block: 30% KORTING op alle vloeren.

Read the condition first: underneath the big orange number sits a small line reading with the GAMMA Voordeelpas, and the footer of every single page repeats the same reminder. The cover product, Laminaat Nordic in beige oak, is 16,99 per square metre on the shelf and 11,89 with the card. Page two is FSC Forest Week, running 21 to 27 September as well, where the text states that 91 per cent of their timber carries an FSC or PEFC mark. After that come spreads of timber headed EXTRA SCHERP GEPRIJSD, plus 25 per cent off every panelled board.

Three groups on the timber pages are worth converting to a price per metre first:

• Planed softwood at 44 by 44 millimetres, in two lengths. The 210 centimetre piece drops from 6,99 to 3,79 and the 270 centimetre piece from 8,89 to 4,89. Converted, that is 1,80 and 1,81 per metre, so near enough identical. Choose the length that leaves the least offcut rather than buying long in the hope of a better rate.
• Load-bearing softwood at 44 by 69 millimetres. The 210 centimetre piece goes from 7,79 to 4,19, or 2,00 per metre, and the 270 centimetre piece from 9,79 to 5,49, or 2,03 per metre. Again the two lengths are level, but moving up from 44 by 44 costs roughly twenty cents more per metre and buys noticeably more strength, which is worth taking straight away for shelving or a stud frame.
• Boards for under the floor and over your head. Underlayment Radiata TG2 at 18 millimetres, 244 by 122 centimetres, falls from 59,99 to 49,99 and covers close to three square metres per sheet. Hardwood plywood at 12 millimetres, 122 by 61 centimetres, goes from 14,79 to 11,99 and the 18 millimetre sheet from 20,99 to 15,69, while the Agnes Fijn Stuc ceiling board is 16,89 down to 13,49 and is quoted per square metre.

The sum is floor area times the square-metre price, and for timber the price divided by the length. Take a 20 square metre living room: with the card, 20 times 11,89 is 237,80, and without it, 20 times 16,99 is 339,80, a difference of 102,00 for one room. Multiply your own length by your own width and you will know what that free card is worth on this trip alone. For timber, always convert to a price per metre before comparing; in this flyer the two lengths of the same section differ by under two cents per metre, so buying long only creates offcuts. The softwood panel at 200 by 20 centimetres, 28,49 down to 21,37, covers 0,4 square metres, which works out at 53,43 per square metre and shows exactly where it sits against a full plywood sheet.

The flooring block separately notes that the laminaat Flooring range is excluded, so not every item wearing a flooring label carries this price. The flyer also gives no stock per branch and no lead time for cutting services, so measure your boot before driving out for large boards.
