Go City London Explorer Pass: the seventh attraction adds 11,66 euro

Planning four days in London, the thing that stalls people is rarely where to go but whether to buy a pass at all. The Go City London Explorer Pass does not sell days, it sells visits: you decide up front on 2 to 7 attractions, pay once, receive that many credits, and each attraction you enter spends one. Checked on Tiqets on 2026-08-27, the adult tiers run from EUR 74.61 for two attractions to 185,36 euro for seven.

Flatten those six tiers into a price per attraction and the shape appears: 37,31 euro at two, 34,59 at three, 31,77 at four, 30,08 at five, 28,95 at six and 26,48 at seven. But what actually decides whether to add one more is the step between neighbouring tiers, not the average. Going from two to three costs another 29,15 euro, while three to four, four to five and five to six all sit around 23,31, and six to seven costs just 11,66. The seventh visit is priced at under four tenths of the third, and no ticket page does that column for you.

Travelling with children puts you on a separate ladder entirely, since the child tiers for ages 5 to 15 run 57,12 euro for two attractions, 74,61 for three and 127,07 for seven. A child's seven credits therefore cost exactly what an adult's four credits cost. Check the coverage before any of this matters: credits work across 75 or more attractions and tours, and the examples the operator names include Westminster Abbey, Shakespeare's Globe, a Thames cruise and stadium tours at Wembley and Chelsea. The pass only makes sense if three or four of those were already on your list.

• Two separate clocks: after purchase you have 24 months to activate the pass in the Go City app, and once activated the credits last only 60 days
• There is no collection point and no physical card. You scan the pass from the app at the gate or ticket office of each venue, and each entry spends one credit
• Cancellation closes 24 hours before the booked date, and the number of credits is fixed at purchase: you cannot top up, only buy a second pass

Before doing any arithmetic, write down the attractions you genuinely want to see, copy the current single-adult admission from each official site, add them up, and compare that total against the matching tier. The pass is worth it only when your total is higher. And if your list happens to stop at six, look once more at the seventh, because 11,66 euro buys another whole venue and that is a different kind of decision from the tiers below it.
