Anyone used to ordering skincare from Korean websites now carries a fixed cost that did not exist before. These 20 pages run from 22 September to 4 October 2026 and the cover reads Ontdek jouw beauty favorieten.

The first page already shows where this issue is pointed: This book puts Purito, Banila Co Clean It Zero and Anua 10+ on one page under the words glass skin. Alongside it sit Makeup Revolution's Superfix setting mist in 75 ml and Lip Shift Ink, and Bubble Skincare marked EXCLUSIEF bij Etos, with Cosmic Rain hydrating mist in 75 ml, Cosmic Silk milky toner in 100 ml and Slam Dunk moisturiser in 50 ml. Korean and American cult brands in one drugstore book is not the usual state of affairs in the Netherlands.

Three items show how this book is priced:

• L'Oréal Paris Telescopic Extensionist Mascara at € 22,99, running 1+1 gratis. Two works out at 11,50 each. Mascara is normally finished within three months of opening, so the second tube either goes to another person or gets used straight after. It is not something that keeps for a year, and that matters more here than the discount itself.
• WELEDA Blauwe Gentiaan- Revitaliserende serum bodylotion 250 ml. This block prints only a name and a size with no price, so the figure in the shop or online on the day is the real one. A 250 ml body lotion is among the first things to empty once autumn starts, so check the price before deciding how many go on the list.
• Dr. Organic Manuka Honey Rescue Cream 50 ml at € 13,99. A 50 ml multi-purpose repair cream lives in a bag for dry knuckles and cracked corners of the mouth, which is exactly the fortnight when the weather turns. The difference from the block above is that this one prints its price, so it can be compared with whatever tube you are using now.

The sum is the Korean site price plus shipping plus import charges, set against the shelf price here. Since 1 July 2026 an e-commerce parcel from outside the EU carries a 3 euro import tariff, and Douane has published that from 1 November a 2 euro handling fee comes on top. So the same serum posted from a Korean site starts 5 euros behind before any shipping is counted. Turned round, a local shelf price only has to land within that 5 euros of the Korean price to already be even, and it is in your hand the same day instead of in two or three weeks.

Not every block in the book prints a price, for instance the WELEDA item shows only a name and a size; the exact import charges are those published by Douane and depend on how the shipment is declared. Treat the price shown in the shop or online on the day as the one that counts; the book gives no branch-level stock.
