A significant development for Dutch civil servants' salary agreements has been reached! Members of the three major unions (FNV, CNV, AC Rijksvakbonden) have voted to approve the new Collective Labour Agreement (Cao Rijksambtenaren), which will officially take effect from 2026.

This means all Dutch civil servants will receive a 2.7% salary increase starting July 1, with retroactive pay from January 1, 2026, resulting in an additional payment on your July payslip.
