See Flowers Forever before it falls

A flower can mean beauty in a vase, evidence in a specimen book and power or identity in politics and fashion. Flowers Forever unfolds those roles across seven chapters and more than two hundred objects from art, design, clothing and science. One entrance is Rebecca Louise Law’s Calyx, made with more than 100,000 dried flowers hanging around the visitor. It leads towards Maria Sibylla Merian, Tracey Bush, Studio DRIFT’s Meadow and Miguel Chevalier’s Extra Natural. The exhibition refuses to reduce flowers to soft decoration; it asks why people keep collecting, reproducing and controlling nature. The show ends on 30 August and Kunsthal opens Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00–17:00. Large installations reward slow attention, so there is no need to force every Museumpark venue into one day.
