Maritime Museum summer: put harbour skills in children’s hands

A harbour is not merely a backdrop for watching large ships. It runs through precise actions: a knot must hold, a chart must be read, a deck requires balance and plastic in the water needs to be recovered. The Maritime Museum summer programme gives those actions to children. Ages three to eight can begin on the Plons outdoor water-play terrace, while older visitors try rope-making, treasure digging, chart drawing and plastic fishing.
