Huurtoeslag 2026: New Rules, Higher Income Threshold

Starting in 2026, the rules for Huurtoeslag (Dutch rent benefit) are changing. The maximum rent eligible for the subsidy will increase from €900.07 to €932.93. Service costs will no longer be included in the rent calculation. This means more tenants with slightly higher incomes may now qualify.

If you were previously ineligible due to rent exceeding the limit, it's worth checking again!
