• Skin: Weleda Skin Food 75 ml, two for 18,89 instead of 25,18. A thick all-round skin cream for the places that get rough, such as the backs of hands, elbows and heels; if two people at home use it, that is one each.
• Mouth: The Humble Co steel tongue scraper, two for 7,49 instead of 9,98. A quick scrape after brushing leaves the breath fresher; stainless steel lasts for years, and one each is more hygienic than sharing.

Second item half price is the same as a quarter off each when you buy two, and dividing the price of the pair by two gives the real price of each. Filled in: two Weleda tubes at 18.89 divided by 2 is about 9.45 each, about 3 less than one at 12.59; two lip balms at 6.74 divided by 2 is 3.37 each. Add up the single prices of the two items you want, take half off the cheaper one, and that is what you pay at the till.
