  • Time and place: apply at an Amsterdam Stadsloket; the city says collection is usually after one week, while Weesp requires an appointment.
  • Price and conditions: valid Stadspas, Dutch nationality, and Amsterdam registration are required; an existing ID or passport must expire within 8 weeks.
  • Before you go: bring the right documents and photo; the free item is an ID card, not a passport, and rush fees are separate.
