If you received rent, healthcare, childcare or child budget allowances in 2025, July is the moment to watch for the final calculation. It can mean extra money, but it can also mean paying back part of an advance.



  • Timing and place: final calculations for allowance year 2025 are issued after 2026-07-01 through Mijn toeslagen, MijnOverheid or post.
  • Good for: students, newcomers and families whose income, rent, childcare costs, partner or household changed last year.
  • Before responding: collect your final 2025 income, rent details and childcare invoices, then compare them with the data used online.
