Late September brings the first genuinely cold morning, you pull last year’s coat out of the cupboard, and the sleeves are suddenly short. This 18-page Zeeman issue carries the cover line about warm coats and creepy favourites for Halloween, and states below it that the offers run from Saturday 19 September to Friday 25 September 2026.

Read the first eight pages and one thing stands out: 27,99 euro keeps reappearing, and it lands on completely different people. A children’s coat in sizes 92-128, roughly 1,5 to 8 years, is 27,99. A children’s coat in 134-164, roughly 8 to 14 years, is 27,99. A women’s coat in S-XL is 27,99. A men’s puffer in S-XXL is 27,99. Yet in the same run a 134-164 coat also appears at 17,99 and a baby snowsuit in 68-86, four to eighteen months, at 19,99. An identical ticket price does not mean identical value. The figure to work out is the cost per season: the price divided by the number of winters that size still has in it. For a growing eight-year-old, 92-128 may have one season left, so 27,99 euro is 27,99 a season. An adult S-XL worn for four winters brings the same 27,99 down to about 7,00 a season. Put your own household into that sum and the answers diverge quickly.

The issue splits into three blocks:

• Coats and rainwear: the men’s puffer in S-XXL at 27,99 euro is labelled 100 per cent recycled polyester and carries a Global Recycled Standard mark, certified by Control Union under licence number 1234922, which is an unusually checkable claim for a flyer. A women’s raincoat in S-XL is 29,99 and a men’s raincoat in S-XXL is 27,99, both given as 100 per cent polyurethane.
• Halloween sleepwear and dressing up: a children’s onesie in 98-140, two to ten years, at 12,99 euro; children’s pyjamas in 92-128 at 7,99 and in 134-176, eight to sixteen years, at 9,99, all three in 100 per cent cotton. Children’s boxers come as a two-pack at 3,99 with the page printing 2,00 euro each. A cape with mask or hairband for three to six years is 3,99.
• Snacks and decorations: every tile on these pages prints a price per kilo, so they compare directly. A Halloween sweet mix of 185 gram is 2,19 euro, or 11,84 a kilo; Dracula sweet teeth of 150 gram are 1,69, or 11,27 a kilo; marshmallows of 150 gram are 1,99, or 13,27 a kilo; a chocolate mix of 100 gram is 1,99, or 19,90 a kilo; and freeze-dried sweets of 57 gram are 2,99, or 52,46 a kilo. Decorations carry a per-piece price the same way: a four-pack of spiders at 1,49 euro works out at 0,37 each, and a two-pack of glow-in-the-dark pieces at 1,49 is 0,75 each.

Those per-kilo figures are the most useful thing in the issue, because they remove the conversion step: among sweets bought for the same evening, the freeze-dried bag at 52,46 euro a kilo costs more than four times the sweet teeth at 11,27. Multipacks work the same way, with the per-piece price already divided out for you, so the only question left is whether the second or fourth piece will actually get used.

Worth noting: the small print states that the online and in-store assortments can differ, that offers run while stocks last, and that typesetting errors and price changes are reserved. The flyer gives no stock per branch either. So measure the children before you go, decide how many seasons each size realistically has left, and let that number pick the price tier rather than the ticket.
