Deal Highlights

Details
Some photo exhibitions are easy to skim and leave. Flowers in the Mirror feels more like opening the working archive of a Dutch photographer who has lived and worked in China for more than twenty years. Ruben Lundgren shows photographs alongside unpublished material, project processes, dummies, magazines and videos.
- Time and place: 12 July-23 August at Fotomuseum Den Haag. Regular entry EUR 16; under-25s and students EUR 7; under-18s free. Usual hours 11:00-17:00.
- Best for: photography and design fans, a rainy-day Hague plan and visitors interested in visual perspectives on life in China.
- Before you go: confirm opening hours and ticket type. Pair it with lunch in town or a beach walk.
Hokimi field note: Slow down for the project material, not only the gallery wall. The choices behind the photograph are the real protagonist.
