Roermond industrial site becomes a free festival of stages and silent disco

On 25 July, Weerstand Terrein at Bredeweg 10 in Roermond opens free to families, friends and music fans. The official programme confirms multiple stages, tribute sound, local talent and headphone dancing.

• The site grew from a former Philips industrial complex into a creative venue. Raw halls, the boiler house and outdoor terrain become part of the experience rather than a neutral festival backdrop.
• Recognisable tribute music anchors the main stage while local performers and other styles get space elsewhere. Visitors who want to dance can choose open air or a silent disco behind headphones.
• Admission is free and all ages are welcome, but the complete timetable is still being filled. Recheck line-up, children’s content, transport and weather; free entry does not make every food or extra free.
