CreaSpektakel Kampen: watch the craft before choosing what to make

CreaSpektakel runs in central Kampen on 15 August from 10:00 to 17:00. Entry is free; walk-in workshop packages start at EUR6.50 and places are first come, first served.

• Putting different crafts on one city route reveals processes hidden by polished product photos and helps visitors judge whether a tool or material suits them.
• Bronze costs EUR6.50 for one workshop and Silver EUR11 for two. Gold EUR14 and Platinum EUR17.50 add sessions, a goodie bag and coffee; value depends on using the extras.
• Workshop seats are not fixed reservations and popular times can fill. Walk once, note three options and buy by queue and difficulty instead of taking the largest package immediately.
• Browsing is free, but objects, materials and food cost extra. Bring a reusable bag and a flat box for anything fragile, damp or not yet set.
