Chef’Special in the forest: arena energy reduced to two intimate shows

Chef’Special plays two shows at Amsterdamse Bostheater on 19 July, with doors at 14:00 and 19:00. Tickets cost €63.25 including service fee; fans of C’est La Vie and In Your Arms should choose by atmosphere and return journey.

• The Haarlem five-piece can fill Appelpop and Zwarte Cross with energy, yet the forest theatre lets them narrow arrangements into a closer semi-acoustic form.
• Chef’Special starts at 15:30 and 20:30 after Neon Dreams support; two recent singles passed two million combined Spotify streams, so this is not only a catalogue show.
• Both performances moved from May because of illness and existing tickets remain valid; outside food is prohibited and evening visitors should plan the forest exit and transport.
