Room reconstructions, historical objects and optional wreck-site VR turn Titanic's construction, collision and final hours into a journey you can enter. It is for visitors who want more than the film version.
What you need to know
Titanic's story did not begin at the iceberg. Titanic – An Immersive Voyage first places you inside reconstructed rooms and grand interiors, then uses historical objects, 3D views and film to follow the ship from its ambitious construction to its final hours.
Created by Exhibition Hub and Fever, the exhibition takes roughly 60–90 minutes. Its most distinctive option is a VR descent to the wreck site about 2.5 miles below the sea, giving a century-old disaster a physical sense of depth and scale.
With history-curious teenagers, the engineering, class divisions and rescue choices give you plenty to discuss. As a pair, it rewards slowing down for the individual stories instead of racing from one large projection to the next.
- Address: Fever Hub Utrecht, Jaarbeursplein 6, Hall 5, 3521 AL Utrecht.
- Tickets currently start at EUR 16.90; standard admission and the VR option differ, so check the ticket type, date and entry time.
- Best for maritime history, engineering and immersive-exhibition fans; check sensory and accessibility information if dark rooms, strong visuals or VR cause discomfort.
Hokimi field note: follow the shipboard life and accident timeline before choosing the VR section. The wreck then feels like the final chapter of a story, not a disconnected effect.
