NIS2 registration starts before the form

The form has five steps, but the slow part happens before opening it: EH2+ ownership, authority to act and knowledge of public IPs or ASN often sit with different colleagues. This registration implements NIS2 in the Netherlands, bringing more than 8,000 essential and important organisations under registration, care, incident and governance duties. IT, CISO, compliance, management and the eHerkenning administrator need to coordinate now rather than leaving it with one administrator. The Cyberbeveiligingswet takes effect on 15 August and in-scope organisations must register through MijnNCSC using authorised EH2+ access plus organisation, contact, public IP, domain and ASN data. The 15 August date is a governance checkpoint, not merely a web form: assign who confirms scope, controls eHerkenning and keeps submission evidence before starting.

First confirm scope, then assign someone with authority and network knowledge; obtaining eHerkenning can take several days.
