Maria and Pepe describe the project as beginning with a meeting in a park, then growing into a table where strangers sit a little closer. During its final two nights, mushrooms, lime and corn on the OASE terrace carry the bittersweet energy of a temporary space about to disappear. The restaurant runs from 8 July to 1 August, serving dinner Wednesday–Saturday from 17:00, plus Saturday breakfast and lunch from 09:00–15:00. The useful question is not simply whether the date fits, but how the people, setting and programme change a familiar city.
