A hundred thousand flowers open one story

Flowers look gentle, yet they have long participated in power, trade, faith and resistance. Kunsthal first immerses visitors in Calyx, built from more than 100,000 dried flowers, then opens the complicated cultural systems behind beauty. Seven chapters cross myth, religion, botany, fashion, politics and technology, including Studio DRIFT’s mechanical flowers and Miguel Chevalier’s interactive virtual garden. The useful question is not simply whether the date fits, but how the people, setting and programme change a familiar city. It suits rainy days, design and plant followers, and visitors wanting both visual immersion and historical context. A poster can make the choice look effortless, yet timing, ticket type, accessibility and the journey home determine whether the plan works. Treat the practical details as part of the story, not an afterthought.
