Picking up drinks and snacks for the weekend on the way home on Friday? This four-page weekend flyer runs from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September. The cover promises up to 52 per cent off, but the discounts in this short flyer are measured against three different things, so the same percentage means something different from one box to the next.

Read the four pages as three groups:

• Compared with another shop’s web price: Coca-Cola or Fanta 12 x 330 ml at 6,99 euro, next to “elsewhere 9,69”, and the asterisk says that price was paid at Albert Heijn online on 3 September 2026. Doritos 170 gram at 1,39 against 1,95 and Knorr world dishes at 1,79 against 3,65 both refer to a purchase on 28 August. Per can that is roughly 0,58 against 0,81 euro.
• Only with the Lidl Plus app: seedless red grapes 500 gram at 1,49 (from 2,39, minus 38 per cent), shoarma 500 gram at 3,29 (from 4,94), beef rolls 400 gram at 4,99 (from 5,98), figs 500 gram at 2,69 (from 3,69) and Dreft washing-up liquid 820 ml at 2,99 (from 6,21, minus 52 per cent). Without the app these boxes are simply full price.
• Ordinary former price against offer price: Galbani mozzarella 125 gram at 1,09 (from 1,45), TUC crackers 3 x 100 gram at 1,99 (from 2,79), Heinz Tomato Frito 350 gram at 0,99 (from 1,29) and Valess 160 to 180 gram at 2,49 (from 3,55). Only this group compares Lidl’s own shelf before and after.

The sum is the Lidl price divided by the price your usual shop charges today, not the “elsewhere” figure in the flyer. That figure is one purchase from three weeks ago, and your own shop may be running its own offer this week. Divide per can or per pack once, then decide whether these boxes are worth a separate trip.

The flyer names no stock per branch and no limit per customer, and several boxes only say “from Friday”. If you go late on Saturday the drink multipacks may be thin on the shelf, so Friday is the safer day for anything on your list.
