Free Amsterdam street-dance final: the crowd decides every battle

On 21 July, the Dutch National Final takes over Vondelpark Openluchttheater for free. Doors open at 19:00 and battles start at 20:00; no ticket or RSVP is required, so arrive early for a clear view.

• There is no professional judging panel. A DJ drops random music from mainstream hits to classics, forcing hip-hop, house, locking and popping specialists to adapt their identity in real time.
• The audience votes after every one-on-one round until one of sixteen remains. That champion advances to the World Final in Zurich on 24 October, so the crowd directly changes the international line-up.
• Under-16s need adult supervision. Free, unreserved entry does not guarantee capacity; check weather and the Vondelpark entrance, and use compact rain gear rather than an umbrella blocking others.
