Thirteen Adele favourites are rearranged for string quartet and performed by candlelight inside centuries-old Schloss Garath. Without a vocalist, melody, harmony and emotional turns come into sharper focus.

Schloss Garath traces its history to a medieval estate, while today's building carries layers of Baroque design and later reconstruction. Hearing Adele in its decorated hall is more than placing candles in a standard venue: contemporary love songs meet an old, intimate acoustic.

The programme covers thirteen songs, including Hello, Rumour Has It, Someone Like You, Skyfall, Easy On Me and Rolling in the Deep, performed by the quartet listed for your date. Without a singer, the way melodies pass between two violins, viola and cello becomes easier to hear.
