Albert Heijn Voordeelshop 14/09-20/09: 8 pages of appliances, e-bikes and trips, each priced against a recommended retail price

This is not the supermarket's weekly flyer but Albert Heijn's 8-page Voordeelshop edition for its online non-food shop, running alongside the same week's Bonus flyer. Every page carries the same footer line, De adviesprijs is de door de leverancier aanbevolen verkoopprijs: the savings shown are measured against the supplier's recommended retail price, not against a price AH itself charged before.

The three items picked out this week belong to three very different decisions:

• KRUPS NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto NEO Latte Bundel, € 79,00. For someone who wants lattes at home without buying a full espresso machine; with capsule machines the running cost is in the capsules, so estimate how many cups a week you drink before ordering.
• Villette Le Mouvement V2 Automatic Per stuk, € 1.349,00. An electric city bike for a daily cycle commute with less effort. The small print on the side of page 8 says the bikes on that page are sold by another company, so check who handles service and warranty before you order.
• 4-, 5- of 6-daagse treinreis incl. hotelovernachtingen 4 dagen Praag, Berlijn of Dresden, € 169,00. For a long weekend by train in a central European city; the price belongs to the 4-day trip named in the title, and departure dates and party conditions need checking on the booking page.
