Until 30 August, tram 3 ends at Keizerswaard and bus 703 continues to Beverwaard; several other lines are affected.
What you need to know
A familiar trip on tram 3 from Rotterdam Centraal to Beverwaard now requires a deliberate exit at Keizerswaard. RET is replacing track on Groeninx van Zoelenlaan and at the depot entrance, while shuttle bus 703 carries passengers through the missing final section. The project is wider than one line. From 18 July to 30 August, tram 2 follows its normal route and tram 3 is shortened; trams 12 and 18 and buses 76 and 183 also feel parts of the work. Drivers can generally pass the main avenue, but temporary lanes, overhead-wire work at night and longer travel remain possible.
- The current diversion phase runs through 30 August.
- Tram 3 operates only between Centraal and Keizerswaard.
- Shuttle bus 703 links Keizerswaard and Beverwaard.
- Both drivers and public-transport users should check the RET planner that day.
Hokimi field note:With a pushchair or limited mobility, check the exact shuttle stop and access before comparing only total journey minutes. Information last checked on 10 August 2026:source 1 · source 2。
