Let plants leave colour on cotton

This is not a ready-made motif stamped onto cloth. Veins, petal moisture, temperature and cotton preparation jointly decide the result; opening the bundle reveals a record of what actually happened between materials. The workshop uses Claudy Jongstra’s naturally pigmented wool as context, then lets participants test plants on cotton. Art history becomes a starting point that can be handled and tested rather than a lecture. On 8 August, 11:00–16:00, Museum Kranenburgh hosts Janneke Huijnk for natural colour printing and pH-shift experiments inspired by Claudy Jongstra.
