Blackberries, often assumed to be ready by now, are not actually open for picking and are only expected later in August, so this is not yet a blackberry trip despite the season. The process itself stays simple: sign in at the shop, take a bucket, pick only within the marked rows, taste one if you like, then weigh and pay at the till before eating more, since pricing runs by weight rather than a fixed entry fee.
