Deal Highlights

From 11 July to 23 August, CORPUS in Oegstgeest runs five body-themed challenge zones daily; standalone entry is €7.50 or €5 with the Journey.

Details

CORPUS UNLOCKED is a useful indoor choice for a wet summer day near Leiden. It runs daily from 10:30 to 19:00, is designed mainly for children aged six and over, and costs €7.50 as a standalone visit or €5 when added to the Journey Through the Human Body.

Children follow a quest map through five zones that test reactions, movement, heart rate and brain power. Younger siblings are not forgotten: a separate offline corner has life-size Jenga and drawing tables, making this easier for families with mixed ages.

For people building a weekend in the Netherlands, this is easiest to use as a practical stop rather than a vague inspiration. Check the live booking page before leaving, allow time for the final admission or programme start, and compare public transport with parking. Families should also confirm the language, age guidance and whether food or a stroller is allowed.

  • Allow roughly 1.5 to 2 hours for the challenge zones.
  • The main Journey needs a timed booking; the standalone activity can be bought at the desk.
  • Bus travel from Leiden Centraal takes about ten minutes; parking costs €12.50.

Hokimi field note: If the interactive zones are enough, skip the full Journey and buy only the standalone ticket after checking that day's opening.
