Almere kids ride all day for €1

The saving happens in the back end, not at the bus door: add the pass to the child’s own card and a daily cap applies; miss checkout and the €1 day can become a €4 missed checkout. This is part of Almere’s 50th-anniversary programme: the subscription is free and valid through year-end, while the €1 summer cap is one automatic benefit. For families with children aged 4–11 using buses for summer outings; the child needs their own personal card. Children aged 4–11 pay at most €1 per day until 16 August on allGo and R-net 326, 329 and 330 after the free “50 jaar Almere” pass is added to a personal bank card or OV-pas. The €1 rule works only beside an adult with an eligible ticket. For larger families, its value is controlling a full day of repeated boarding, not one cheap ride.

Online activation takes about 15 minutes, an OV-pas needs at least €4 balance, and a bank card needs contactless payment.
