Stadscamping Schoonhoven

We had a wonderful 1 week stay in the Tiny White House. Everything was spotless. Everyone was very kind and friendly. We took our 2 dogs they liked it aswell. Be sure to check out the cafe for some AMAZING chinese food one of the best we've ever had. We will be returning and will be recommending this place to our friends and family.

We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 6! Spacious and well run campsite on the river Lek and an easy walk into Schoonhoven. It's fascinating just watching life on the river. Excellent staff who made us very welcome; great showers, toilets and washing up facilities (lots of hot water); large pitches with electric and water; good bar/restaurant on site; best bike workshop we have recent. Only negative was virtually nn-existent wifi apart from at the bar. Excellent bike paths from the campsite and plenty of places to visit. 5 minute bike to the ferry to the other side of the river ( €1.00 for a bike). Gouda cheese market on a Thursday and the windmills ar Kinderdijk well worth a visit. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent facilities, extremely clean. Washing and drying for €6 and they give you a laundry pod. Beautiful location next to the water. The restaurant breakfast was €5 each (with a voucher) and decent potion. Couldn't fault it.

Nice place to moor overnight. Harbormaster met is at the dock and helped us tie up. Small friendly Restaraunt with lunch dinner and coffees, libations. Restroom facilities were clean with lots of hot water. Great spot to walk to the city. Friendly boaters on the dock. We will stay here again next time we boat the River Lek!

Friendly to us and our dog. Good clean facilities. Showers included in price, but the warm water could have been warmer... Very well situated, just a few minutes walk from the nice town. Good washing machine and dryer - 6 euro for both together. Beware though that you must park your car outside premises on a public parking if you have a caravan. To us that was inconvenient since we have our golf equipment in the car, and also our dog uses the car sometimes during the day to relax. However, after a few days we appreciated that there were no cars on the field. It made it calm and beautiful. So maybe it is a good idea after all. (But first time we encountered this) I recommend this camping and will return.
